We were here late at night a few days ago and were astonished. The owners work till 4 am, thus, they gave us a chance to get not just nutritious and tasty food but a friendly attitude in English (despite a menu in Dutch) + a pub ambiance. 10/10 for food, service, and atmosphere
This place is AWESOME! The literal Holy land of Shoarma! The owners are incredibly passionate about the quality of their food! They also were so welcoming to customers….they offered us a small sample of the meat to taste before we ordered. And honestly, each item on the menu we tasted was the best I’ve ever had! Would definitely go back!
A not so hidden gem of Haarlem, this excellent shoarma spot is most busy on people's way to the train station or out of the center. It has a wonderful diner esque interior with many people coming and going. The food is reasonably priced and a lot less greasy than other shoarma spots you can find. Pro Tip: If you're cold, sit near the grill.
This place saved my night. It was around 2130 hours when I arrived to the Haarlem Station on a week night. I was tired and hungry from a bus ride from Bruges. I didn’t know what was open at that time but as I walked to my lodging I saw this place opened. The owners treated me respectfully and did accept foreign cards. I ordered a shawarma and a drink. The plate was plentiful and very tasty. I arrived to my lodging very satisfied on a cold winter night.
I came here for the first time tonight with my wife. It was open late, which was nice. I don't speak Dutch and he was very gracious to speak English to me. I've never had Shoarma like that before. It was really great. It was super authentic and the dressing and chilli was great. The food came super quick, was hot and tasty with friendly service. Thanks heaps. We will be back.
This is my favorite place to come grab a sandwich when I'm staying in Harlem! The staff is extra friendly and the beer is always cold. Five stars.
People swarmed in the holyland to get the hottest freshly prepared shoarma in bread or on kapsalon. They provided sauces and lettuce on the side which kept the fries cripsy as takeaway. Recommended!
